The Role

Growing sound business relationships with an allocated portfolio, the Service Account Manager will provide a rich customer experience, both face-to-face and via telephone, being a direct point of contact into Telstra for business customers. The Service Account Manager will capture and resolve service requests, manage incidents, understand key business

You will be a natural problem solver who places a strong emphasis on service delivery, issue resolution and operational account management. Most importantly, you are passionate about first identifying and then solving business problems for your customers to generate measurable commercial outcomes for all parties.

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Telstra systems and sales accreditation is highly desirable
  • IT Industry experience and qualifications are desirable but not required


  • Build positive B2B relationships with a dedicated portfolio of Business customers through regular telephone and email-based communication
  • Manage face to face interactions with business customers via the Telstra Business Technology Centres
  • Manage service requests in a timely manner to meet customer expectations and grow incremental revenues
  • Solve underlying service issues and problems through direct action and management, or through collaboration of service and support teams
  • Maintain excellent knowledge of Telstra systems and processes, as well as core telecommunications technologies, products and services
  • Utilise service teams and technical resources to solve issues and assist customers
