As an IT Support Engineer you will be responsible for providing IT support for all end users and the technology located in all Vita locations. This position will involve onsite and remote desktop & network support. You will be required to co-ordinate activity from 3rd party support vendors and may assist in varied roles in the delivery of IT projects.


  • Level 1 and 2 IT support for 3500+ computers and various network technology at Vita’s locations
  • Support of standard applications in the endpoint environment
  • Provision of new and re-issue existing desktops, notebooks and related IT equipment
  • On-site store visits as required to support Vita footprint activities
  • Co-ordinate internally and liaise with Vendors for hardware equipment repairs (desktop, laptop, mobility devices, printers, TV’s etc) 
  • Assist stores with day-to-day operational procedures and systems maintenance
  • Ensure that all requests and their subsequent resolutions are recorded in the Vita Group ticket tracking system
  • AD Account, security group and Mailbox adds/moves/changes
  • Administration related to Office 365 users of functionality
  • Support IT asset tracking and management within the ERP
  • Delivering a high level of communication and customer service to customers and key stakeholders
  • Support testing new versions of software, eg. POS, Office Suites, Adobe

Your Attributes

  • Demonstrated experience in a level 2 IT support role
  • Advanced experience with MS Office 365, Microsoft desktop operating systems, desktop hardware
  • Intermediate experience with the following:
    • SaaS systems (Office 365, Salesforce)
    • LAN, WAN, internet, VPN, wireless and related network technologies
  • Experience supporting high IT ticket volume
  • Prior knowledge of the following would be highly desirable
    • POS systems and the retail industry highly desirable
    • Mac software including MAC OS-X, Office for Mac and Mac hardware
  • Experience troubleshooting routers, switches, cabling, desktops, printers and other hardware
  • Remote desktop control software and Citrix highly desirable
