Role

As the Managed Services Support Officer, you will provide a high level of customer service and technical support to external customers within Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) and Targets. You will be recognised for showing expertise in subject matter issues within the area of ICT Managed Compute, including on premise and cloud based solutions as well as understanding, communicating and recommending common best practices related to this area of expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Answer and address incoming phone calls and respond to email requests from Vita Group customers within the agreed Service Level Targets (SLTs)
  • Ensure customer data validity across the ICT Ticketing and CRM systems
  • Provide technical expertise, in accordance with ITIL foundations and/or similar practices
  • Configure, proactively manage and maintain Windows Server Environments
  • Maintain and configure Office 365 and Exchange environments
  • Patch and update customer and internal critical systems
  • Provide a high level of Apple Macintosh technical expertise
  • Implement changes to customer infrastructure
  • Provision and support Windows and MacOS desktop environments
  • Configure and maintain Terminal Server environments including, but not limited to Microsoft Remote Desktop Services and Citrix
  • After-hours on-call duties on a rotational basis to provide 24x7 support for Manage Services customers

About you

  • Significant ICT support experience in a Managed Services or Professional Services environment
  • Knowledge of Mobility, Fixed and Collaboration solutions
  • Outstanding customer service skills to accompany your vast range of IT related knowledge
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Workstation operating systems, MS Exchange Server, MS Active Directory and Group Policy, Office 365, SQL, SharePoint, backup solutions (Veeam & Shadow Protect), TIPT phone systems and MDM Solutions (AirWatch, MobileIron)
